Coca Cola Israel Owner Moshe Wertheim Dies At The Age Of 86


1Israeli billionaire and controlling shareholder of Coca Cola Israel, Moshe Wertheim, was niftar at the age of 86. Wertheim also owned 22% of Bank Mizrahi-Tefahot, 51% of Keshet (a subsidiary of Channel 2) and other major corporations.

Wertheim was born to a frum family in Yerushalayim, served in the Palmach and after the establishment of the state, in the Mossad. He earned a law degree from Hebrew University, a member of the Law School’s first graduating class.

He amassed his wealth through Coca Cola and other successful investments such as Tara dairy, Neviot water, Pri Gat fruit juices as well. His son David has been running his businesses in recent years.
