Two weeks after sustaining a major hemorrhagic stroke, former President Shimon Peres’ condition has taken a sharp turn for the worse on Tuesday afternoon 24 Elul.

The update from Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer stated that his condition “dramatically worsened” and the assessment of physicians is that he sustained “irreversible neurological impairment”.
