PA Leader Seeking Support For His Two-State Solution After President Trump Did Not Follow His Predecessors

BETLEMME: VISITA DEL PRESIDENTE DELLA REPUBBLICA GIORGIO NAPOLITANOWith US President Donald Trump making his position clear; that he does not share the enthusiasm of his predecessors regarding the so-called two-state solution for Mideast peace, PA leader Abu Mazen is shopping for supporters.

Abu Mazen on Monday 2 Adar turned to the international community to support the program, echoing his message delivered to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. He explains the entire international community including the US until the current administration has supported the plan, which calls for recognizing the State of Palestine.

In his usual mantra, the PA leader condemned “settlements” which he blames for blocking peace efforts as well as the recent Knesset passing of the Regulation Law, which he feels “legitimizes the continued occupation of Palestinian lands”. He also emphasized the PA’s opposition to relocating the United States Embassy in Jerusalem.

  1. There can never be a two state solution. ISrael is there and there to stay. The arabs have so Much land all over the place. ISrael is so tiny.
