An IDF soldier was severely wounded and six others lightly injured this morning when a shell inadvertently exploded during maintenance work being done one on a missile ship in the Haifa naval base. Two other civilians employed by the IDF were injured in the incident.� The injured were evacuated to the Rambam hospital in Haifa to receive medical treatment.� The families of those involved were notified.� The incident will be fully investigated by the IDF.
