Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem in an interview with the Kuwaiti media stated that a war with Israel is indeed a possibility.

Speaking with the al-Anba Newspaper, the senior Syrian minister stated “anything is possible” when asked if he believes if Israel is preparing for war against Syria or Lebanon.

“Every rational person should prepare for every eventuality,” he stated, adding this is the result of the “crazy policies being advocated by the US,” making reference to White House support for Israel.

The senior minister reiterated Damascus’ support for Hizbullah, labeling the terror organization a “friend of Syria”.
