Neo-Nazi Couple Who Named Baby After Adolf Hitler YM”S, Jailed For Terror Group Membership

Fanatical neo-Nazis who named their baby in honor of Adolf Hitler YM”S have been jailed for being members of a terrorist group.

Adam Thomas, 22, and Claudia Patatas, 38, from Banbury, Oxfordshire, were found guilty of being members of National Action – an extreme right-wing group banned in 2016.

Thomas was jailed for six years and six months, and Patatas for five years.

The jury was told that Thomas and Patatas gave their child the middle name “Adolf”, which Thomas said was in “admiration” of Hitler, and the couple had Swastika scatter cushions in their home.

Their close friend, Darren Fletcher, who admitted National Action membership before trial, was also jailed for five years for the same offense.

In all, six people were sentenced on Tuesday, for being members of what Judge Melbourne Inman QC described as a group with “horrific aims”.

He said: “Its aims and objectives are the overthrow of democracy in this country by serious violence and murder, and the imposition of a Nazi-style state which would eradicate whole sections of society by such violence and mass murder.”

Last week, the court heard the prosecution claim that Fletcher had taught his daughter to give a Nazi salute, and that he sent a message to Patatas saying “finally got her to do it”.

Photographs recovered from their address also showed Thomas cradling his newborn son while wearing the hooded white robes of a Ku Klux Klansman.

In conversation with another National Action member, Patatas said “all Jews must be put to death”, while Thomas had once told his partner he found “all non-whites intolerable”.

Former Amazon security guard Thomas and Patatas, a wedding photographer originally from Portugal who also wanted to “bring back concentration camps”, were found guilty after a seven-week trial.

  1. So horrible that there is no freedom of speech in England like in the US. Not that these are good people, but they were jailed for membership in a group, not any other crime!!!

    Are you smoking weed????
I guess you never had grandparents that went thru the holocaust led by such “free speech “
I never imagined that it would come to this that a heimishe guy would be so uneducated about our history.

  3. zcs, not in this country it isn’t. And it can’t be.
philosopher, you’re not very philosophical if you don’t understand the impossibility of liberty without the freedom of speech.
Go Pupa, the fundamental liberty of every person is more important than anything. Without it we are lost. Only the USA is truly a free country.

    1. No, I don’t smoke.
    2. Actually, 2 of my grandparents were liberated at Auschwitz and
    3. I know Jewish history and world history better than most.
    Philosopher, Ocho sinco, et al:
What I said was that no other crime had been committed. In England there is no freedom of association, as is protected in the US by the first amendment. That means that if you belong to any group deemed “dangerous” or “subversive” you are protected from persecution and prosecution unless you actually make a “call to violent action”, rallying people to commit crimes. There is no such protection in the UK. This same freedom of association is what will protect Torah Jews, our rabbanim, laymen, and mosdos, B’ezras Hashem, from being labeled “hatemongers” or “terrorists” when a far-left government comes to power in America and seeks to Jail people for espousing or believing in ideas against the mainstream, such as marriage equality, transgender issues, etc. etc. etc.

  5. Yungerman, in the US advocating violent crimes is also protected. Only actual incitement is forbidden; incitement means whipping people up emotionally so that without stopping to think about it they go out immediately and commit the crimes. The three elements of incitement are that the speech must be (1) subjectively intended to have this effect; (2) objectively likely to have this effect; (3) it must be immediate. Merely telling people why they should commit crimes, and they then think about it and decide that you’re right, and then go and do it is not incitement.
