UN official Richard Falk will not be permitted into Israel after Foreign Ministry officials indicated they will not be granting him a visa. The controversy stems from Falk making a comparison between Israelis and Nazis.

Despite the fact that Falk will be assuming a new post on the UN�s Human Rights Council, Israel has signaled he will not be permitted into the country or Palestinian Authority autonomous areas. This despite the fact that he hopes to be granted a mandate by the UN to investigate human rights violations against PA residents.
