UN official Richard Falk will not be permitted into Israel after Foreign Ministry officials indicated they will not be granting him a visa. The controversy stems from Falk making a comparison between Israelis and Nazis.

Despite the fact that Falk will be assuming a new post on the UN’s Human Rights Council, Israel has signaled he will not be permitted into the country or Palestinian Authority autonomous areas. This despite the fact that he hopes to be granted a mandate by the UN to investigate human rights violations against PA residents.
