Speaking at an annual counter-terrorism seminar hosted by the IDC-Herzliya, Defense Minister Moshe Ya�alon addressed the threat of a possible US military offensive against Syria. Ya�alon spoke of the regional tensions resulting from this possible attack, a response to Syria�s use of chemical weaponry against its population.

Ya�alon stressed that while Israel is not involved, Jerusalem is well aware that any military action against Syria is likely to have a direct impact on Israel. However, he stated �the bottom line is that everyone should continue with life as usual, not to make any changes in one�s plans, as was detailed before Rosh Hashanah�.
