Deputy Director of Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital Dr. Menachem Brir reported on Tuesday night, the eve of 19 Adar I 5774, that there is a significant improvement in the condition of HaGaon HaRav Nissim Karelitz Shlita.
Rav Karelitzs personal physician added that the posek remains in serious/stable condition.
The rav was showing signs of a good recovery following surgery for an intestinal blockage but suddenly his condition took a sharp turn for the worse.
