A Brooklyn teen accused of setting the fire that killed a city police officer last weekend reportedly will also be charged with murder today.
According to the Daily News, an indictment against Marcell Dockery, 16, will be unsealed in court today and it will include a second degree murder charge.
Dockery is already charged with arson, assault and reckless endangerment.
Police say he told them he set fire to a mattress inside a Coney Island building on Sunday because he was bored.
Officer Dennis Guerra, 38, died Wednesday after suffering smoke inhalation while responding to the fire.
His partner, Rosa Rodriguez, remains in critical condition.
