The chavrusah tumult took place at BMG this week, as the summer Zman kicks off. The tumult generally last for two days, with talmidim of the yeshiva seeking out chavrusos and which chaburah they will be in.

Can someone please explain why this is something to proud of? Most baalei Baltimore have been working for the past two weeks since Yom tov was over. If the argument is made that bnei Torah work as hard as baalei Baltimore, is it really necessary to spend a full two weeks after a month long vacation on an effort that should probably take less than an hour? I did not learn in BMG but in the Yeshivas I learned , in order to get a chavrusa you spoke to a few guys and done. No need to spend two days shmoozing about “what I did over vacation” and whose mother-in-law makes a better chocked soup
Wow …It doesn’t look like it did 45 years ago .Except for the green water tower next to where the Cheder was , the dorm ,& the Dora Cohen corner stone .
