HY’D: Following the rescue operation last week, and with the family’s approval, it is now permitted to publish that the additional abducted soldier who was rescued from the Khan Younis area in the Gaza Strip is Staff Sergeant Major (Res.) Aviv Atzili.

Atzili, a member of the standby squad of Kibbutz Nir Oz, went out to fight terrorists on the morning of October 7, fell in battle, and was abducted from the kibbutz.
