Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto is set to visit Israel tomorrow, making him the first Indonesian head of state to travel to the country

During his speech at the United Nations in September, Subianto spoke about Israel in unexpectedly positive terms, closing his remarks with the word “Shalom.”

Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, currently does not maintain official diplomatic relations with Israel.
