🚨 Vehicle Plows Into Crowd of Peleg Yeshiva Bochrim Protesting On Route 4; Two Drivers Arrested [VIDEO]

An angry driver drove through a crowd of Yeshiva Bochurim who are protesting the IDF draft on Monday evening.

Protests by Peleg Yerushalmi Faction were taking place near Bnei Brak, with demonstrators blocking Route 4 as well as Jabotinsky Street. The road closures caused severe traffic disruptions throughout the area, with heavy congestion reported on the main arteries leading into the city.

During the demonstration, which was organized by members of the extremist “Ratzfanik” faction, a serious and unusual incident occurred on Jabotinsky Street when a vehicle rammed through a crowd of several protesters and fled the scene.

Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical treatment to a 16-year-old boy with injuries to his abdomen, leg, and groin. He is in moderate condition and will continue to receive treatment at the Nahariya Hospital.

Officers stationed nearby immediately pursued the driver and arrested him shortly afterward. The suspect is a 24-year-old resident of Bnei Brak, police said.

In a separate incident later in the evening, police prevented what they described as another potentially serious attack when a motorcyclist attempted to drive into the crowd of demonstrators. Officers intervened and detained the rider, identified as a 37-year-old resident of Herzliya.

Both suspects were taken to a nearby police station for questioning as police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incidents.

Emergency Services Paramedics Yakov Tarani and Menachem Shtern: “When we arrived at the scene of the traffic accident, we found a young man with injuries to his abdomen, leg, and groin after being hit by a vehicle during a protest taking place in the area. Together with Magen David Adom paramedics, we provided him with initial medical treatment, including stabilization and bandaging, and he is in moderate condition and will continue to receive treatment in the trauma ward at the Nahariya Hospital.”

Meanwhile, police continue efforts to clear the roadblocks, redirect traffic to alternate routes, and maintain public order. Law enforcement officials reiterated that violations of freedom of movement and any endangerment to human life will not be tolerated. In light of the protests, the public is urged to avoid the Bnei Brak area, use alternative routes, and stay updated on traffic conditions.
