Senior Israeli and Syrian officials will meet in Washington on Monday and Tuesday for U.S.-mediated talks led by envoy Tom Barrack.

The Israeli delegation will be led by Ambassador Yechiel Leiter and Roman Goffman. Syria will be represented by its leadership

The talks are described as exploratory, with no final agreements expected at this stage.
