The IDF said in a statement that troops under the Southern Command began a targeted operation in the area of the Yellow Line in the northern Gaza Strip to retrieve the body of the last remaining slain hostage still being held by Hamas in Gaza, Ran Gvili.

The IDF said it will continue all necessary efforts until Sgt. First Class Ran Gvili is returned to Israel for burial.
