U.S.-Based Anti-Israel Activist Groups Call for Mass Mobilization After Strikes on Iran

A number of U.S.-based activist organizations, including anti-Israel and extremist groups, are calling on supporters to mobilize in the wake of the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, urging demonstrations and, in some cases, direct action aimed at disrupting the “Zionist war machine.”

Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network issued a public statement condemning the military action against Iran and calling for “the broadest mobilizations everywhere to not only protest but to shut down the war machine with action.”

The group urged supporters to organize emergency demonstrations in “cities, communities, and campuses around the world,” particularly in Western countries, and to move beyond symbolic protest. “This is the time for action, awareness, and confrontation,” the statement read.

National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP) similarly called on campus chapters to mobilize in defense of Iran’s “sovereignty.” In a statement, the organization described itself as a leading “anti-imperialist force on campus” and framed opposition to U.S. policy as a central test of that role.

“We have a duty to halt the war machine and defend the sovereignty of a country which U.S. Zionist forces seek to dismantle,” the statement said.

A Chicago chapter affiliated with Students for Justice in Palestine drew additional scrutiny after posting messages appearing to celebrate an Iranian missile strike on a U.S. Navy base in Bahrain.

Meanwhile, a coalition describing itself as “black and brown-led NYC community organizations” — including the Bronx Anti-War Coalition and Crown Heights Bites Back — released a joint statement expressing solidarity with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and what it termed the “resistance axis.”

The rhetoric extends beyond left-wing activist circles. The Aryan Freedom Network, a white nationalist organization, issued its own call for mobilization, urging supporters to prepare and organize in response to what it characterized as a “Zionist system.” The group’s statement included antisemitic conspiracy claims and inflammatory language targeting Jews and political figures.
