Gas Prices Hit $3.99, Surge Over $1 Since Iran War Began


The average US gas price edged up by 1 cent to $3.99 according to AAA, the highest since 2022 but still just short of the $4 benchmark.

But much larger increases on most days since the start of the war in Iran have lifted prices $1.01 since the fighting in Iran started on February 28.
