The ICC prosecutor’s office secretly submitted an application last month seeking an arrest warrant for Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, according to a report by Middle East Eye.
The reported allegations involve claims tied to Israeli policies and communities in Judea and Samaria. The application was reportedly submitted on April 2 and remains under review by ICC judges.
The report also says prosecutors reviewed evidence tied to possible additional filings involving National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, though no further applications have reportedly been submitted.
