YWN regrets to inform you of the tragic petira of 8-year-old Shaindel Herzberg A”H, beloved daughter of Yudi and Chumie Herzberg.

Shaindel was critically injured Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle on Tiffin Lane in Pomona. Rockland Hatzoloh volunteers, paramedics, and emergency personnel responded immediately and utilized every available life-saving measure in a valiant effort to save her life. She was transported to Nyack Hospital in critical condition.

Despite the tireless efforts of Hatzoloh volunteers, paramedics, physicians, and hospital staff, Shaindel sadly succumbed to her injuries.

Misaskim, Chesed Shel Emes and Chaverim of Rockland are on the scene ensuring proper kavod hameis.

The Levaya will take place on Wednesday morning exact timing and details to follow. The Kevura will take place at Monsey Beis HaChaim on Brick Church Road.
