Two soldiers were killed in separate incidents in southern Lebanon, the IDF announced on Motzei Shabbos.

One soldier was seriously wounded by an explosive drone in Lebanon on Thursday night and passed away over Shabbos. He was identified as Cpt. Shachar Gamla, H’yd, 23, from Natur, a moshav in Ramat HaGolan. He served as a deputy platoon commander in the Egoz Unit.

In another tragic incident, another soldier was killed in an accidental bullet discharge in southern Lebanon on Friday.

He was identified as  Sgt. Ohad Yaari, 21, H’yd, from Rechovot. He served in the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade.

The accident is being investigated by the military police.
