Hatzoloh of Kiryas Joel is warning parents not to allow children to ride electric scooters, citing numerous serious accidents, including a recent case in which a 9-year-old child wearing a helmet suffered severe head injuries and required emergency brain surgery. Boruch Hashem, the child is expected to recover. Hatzoloh says electric scooters can be extremely dangerous, with or without a helmet.
