President Donald Trump issued a blistering statement Wednesday morning, declaring that Iran’s military has been decisively defeated and warning that the Islamic Republic will now “pay the price” for rejecting earlier opportunities to reach a deal.
In a post released amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, Trump claimed that much of Iran’s military capability has effectively been destroyed.
“Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess,” Trump wrote. “Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore – They have been completely defeated.”
The president went on to mock Tehran’s recent threats and military claims, describing Iran as “all talk and no action.”
In one of the most striking lines of the statement, Trump declared: “The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!!”
Trump also asserted that Iran squandered opportunities to negotiate a favorable agreement with the United States before the conflict escalated.
“They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!!!” he wrote.
The remarks come amid a rapidly deteriorating security situation in the region following U.S. strikes on Iranian targets and Tehran’s subsequent claims of retaliatory attacks against American military installations throughout the Middle East.

Hasn’t Bibi been saying this since you were in showbiz? You always know better than the experts and never accept suggestions or advice from those who are in the know! Now you are in the know! All the experts have been imploring upon you to obliterate them and put them back into the syone-age! But you resisted! The Mossad reported they the Iranians were laughing at you and ringing circles around you! They’ve rendered you a fool indeed. Now you Know! Learn from your miscalculation and listen to the experts.
Cute. Yesterday Trump said a great deal would get signed in 2-3 days; today he says, “They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them.”
