Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that a peace deal between the United States and Iran has been reached, saying both sides have agreed to the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

Sharif said the official signing ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 19 in Switzerland. He also thanked Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye for their roles in the mediation effort.
