The race for the Louisiana U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu will go to a two-candidate runoff next month, according to a CNN projection. Neither Landrieu nor Republican Bill Cassidy is expected to get the 50% of the vote needed to win outright on Tuesday.
