Lakewood: Local Rov And His Family Make Kiddush Hashem At Lakewood Police Headquarters

l

In light of the negativity surrounding police forces throughout the country, a local Rabbi was determined to show support and appreciation of Lakewoods police officers.

In a show of solidarity and support, Rabbi Lefkowitz, Rav of Kollel Bnei Torah, and his family, brought homemade treats to the Lakewood Police Department.

The officers were visibly moved by this gesture as it was refreshing to see community leaders come out to support them, a bystander in headquarters at the time told TLS.

  1. That is a YID with a neshemah like Rabbi Males of Harrusberg who makes a shul dinner for all police & firemen every Thanksgiving.

  2. I am proud that we have a Rov of this caliber in our community.
He has a great perspective on kavod habrius
and seems to have insight also
    thank you rabbi lefkowitz

  3. I actually did something similar, just I was quieter about it. Last Thurs, I brought big boxes of donuts around to the local precint houses in Brooklyn, and made a small speech how the Jewish community appreciates all that the NYPD does. They were very touched
