Shocking Vandalism Attack at Yad Vashem

Employees of the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem were shocked upon arrival at work on Monday morning. The entrance of the Holocaust memorial site was targeted in a vandalism attack and graffiti including “Thanks Hitler for the Holocaust”, “The Zionist leaders wanted the Holocaust” and the “Global Zionist mafia”. The graffiti was written in many places, leading to outrage and widespread condemnation.

“If Hitler did not exist, the Zionists would have invented him” was another graffiti message, pointing police in the direction of Jewish anti-Zionists elements are the responsible party for the attack.

Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev stated “I’m appalled by this blatant act of hatred against the state and Zionism. This is crossing a red line.”

  1. why not write the full story

Police believe that the anti-Semitic and anti-Israel graffiti attack on Yad Vashem Holocaust museum was perpetrated by haredi (ultra-Orthodox) extremists, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben Ruby said Sunday. One of the graffiti slogans read “Haredi World Committee,” Ruby said.

  2. while I hope it was not Jews who did this, it is possible. If one hears that the Zionist caused the holocaust or it was because of the secular Jews not being religious. )we all known who said that). In addition they only read ben hecth book perfidy, and see their community members screaming at the police Nazis, and of course that sick protest dressed in concentration camp prisoners.

why would they think any differently, they do not and can not know from other perspective or that most Jews and thinking humans think such talk in nonsense

  3. From Yediot Acharonot Hebrew web site:
מרדכי הירש, מראשי פלג “נטורי קרתא” האנטי-ציוני, אמר ל-ynet כי פעיליו אינם אחראים למעשה, והפנה אצבע מאשימה דווקא לעבר חוגי הימין הקיצוני, המוחים על הכוונה לפנות בתים בבית-אל ובמגרון.

I’ll translate for those who can’t read the Hebrew:
Mordechai Hiirsch, head of Neturei Karta, says thay did not do it. He blames Israeli right wingers protesting the expulsion from Bet-El.

We dont know yet who did it and I hope it wasnt who thd police think it was. We really dont need another chillul Hashem.

  5. Elu ratzim ve-onu ratzim: when the Zionists discovered the “shocking crime,” they started thrashing about in search of a tzibur to blame (guess which one). When real Jews have a tragedy, they look into themselves to make tshuva.

  6. peakman, you say, “If one hears that the Zionist caused the holocaust or it was because of the secular Jews not being religious. )we all known who said that).” Well, some of our greatest Gedolim among others said that. These are simply facts. What we don’t know is why someone chose to express his anguish about this now of all times, sixty years after the place was established. When the Zionist media zero in on a culprit, will you believe them? Why?

I hope you are right since this would be a new low

  8. “Mordechai Hiirsch, head of Neturei Karta, says thay did not do it. He blames Israeli right wingers protesting the expulsion from Bet-El.”

Oh! Now I know why there are so few comments on this post.
Had it been NK, this post would had been flooded.

  9. Sane conservative: thus far, Israeli right wingers protesting expulsions have targeted Arabs or army property and left messages centering on the words “tag mehir” (“price tag”) or similar. They have also indulged in more serious vandalism than spray-painted graffitti. None of this fits the abomination committed at Yad Vashem.
