Maran HaGaon Rav Aaron Leib Shteinman Shlita has called upon the innocent talmidim of the nation’s talmidei torah, the Tinokos Shel Beis Raban to take part in a tefilla effort on erev shabbos 23 Tammuz 5772 at 2:30PM. Talmidim are to gather at their respective yeshivos to recite tefilos and tehillim in light of the worrisome situation surrounding an imminent IDF draft for tens of thousands of avreichim.

According to the Kol Chai Radio report, the gadol hador has instructed all talmidei torah to participate in this important event as the government moves ahead to pass a law that will chas v’sholom pull tens of thousands of avreichim from batei medrashim and compel them to serve in the IDF or a government approved national service program, leaving the yeshivos empty at this critical time in Am Yisrael’s history.

In addition, the gadol hador instructed talmidim of ‘’אורחות התורה to learn round-the-clock for three days towards annulling the gezeira.
