Just reminding everyone to start their yoser mei’limudo parties in advance of the upcoming purim.
As you’re all aware, according to the mechaber, one has NO MITZVA of drinking on purim once you have already reached ad d’lo yadah. According to the rema, however, there continues to be a mitzva until you have drunk yoser mei’limodu, which can be much more. Thus, a good way to be do more mitzvos is to make sure that yoser mei’limodo is as much as possible.
Query whether the rema’s chiyuv continues even past shikruso shel lot. I hear a tzad that since the mitzva is to be drunk, you can fulfill it even when you are pattur from other mitzvos on account of being drunk.

February 22, 2015 6:06 am at 6:06 am #1060566popa_bar_abbaParticipantThe inyan of drinking purim night is to be so hung over purim day that it is clear you are drinking only for the mitzva.

February 22, 2015 9:06 am at 9:06 am #1060568Sam2ParticipantLior: There is no Mitzvah whatsoever to drink Purim night. It’s just an excuse people use to get drunk (at best).
