Was Rav Shmuel by the Dirshu siyum?February 18, 2020 8:43 pm at 8:43 pm in reply to: Did Rav Shmuel Kaminetzky write the Dirshu article in last week’s publications #1832966
But why did one of the publications write “Shlita” after his name?
Also did Rav Shmuel even attend the dirshu siyum? I didn’t see him in the pics or videos.
But doesn’t the OU have a Teach NYS advocacy which advocates for education and reduced tuition? Clearly the OU is involved in education/chinnuch issues and is more than just Kasharus.
Cold is one thing. You can always bundle up. But what happens if there is a bad snow storm? Do you think there is a different date scheduled in case of really had weather?
The problem is very simple. When you take “nature” out of the picture and choices are made based on resumes, pictures, digging up information etc you’re left with a crisis. Their are way too many time consuming and decision making obstacles to overcome to even get to a first date.
There’s a very simple way to solve the shidduch crisis. Create venues for Boys & Girls to meet. Until we put “nature” back into the picture the crisis will never be solved.
