I find this discussion about therapists private and inappropriate to be discussing in a public forum, even if you don’t know anyone, which may actually be worse as they are STRANGERS… and hey, maybe some people do know or can figure out who you are. If you need a therapist or any other help, this is not the place to get it! Go and ask an old teacher, a Rav, friend or parent.

    Please!

If she was a chiropractor, it is possible she is fake and I’m almost positive might not need a medical license. A close relative of mine is a doctor and warns people about chiropractors; he has had patients who came to him in bad shape after being messed up by a chiropractor!

from what I know, Meohr is not very text-based but more academic. Academic can be subjective. Talk to alumnae from ur high school and find out how hard it is based on that and based on what friends and teachers tell you. I think I heard Seminar has 2 tracks, though not sure how hard the honors track is(i have heard that people say Seminar is easy but ppl say they really do have work, so not sure abt that). Pninim isnt very hard.

Depends on how BY she is. If she wants s/t slightly more Bais Yaakov maybe check into Meohr or Ateres(I think Steres is more frum than Meohr). I hear Meohr is very intellectual but not very text-based. if she wants more academic Machon Raaya. Also check into Kesser Chaya-will be starting its 2nd year or Lev Bais Yaakov-will be starting its first year.

From what I know, Bnos Chana is a Bais Yaakov seminary for girls who are seriously BY girls but want a less tense atmosphere when it comes to academics.

Nanny- in every seminary there will be girls struggling with certain issues.

For example, even in the most frum schools, there will be girls struggling with movies, non-Jewish music etc. The thing is in those schools, the girls will try to cover it up. On the other hand, in some schools, where it’s more accepted, girls may be more open about their “activities.” Keep that in mind.

Also, e/o struggles. So no matter what sem u go to, there will be girls struggling with at least a few issues. In some BY seminaries, the struggles may not be the same as in non-BYs, but keep in mind that there are issues e/w.

Unfortunately, the world isn’t perfect, there is no perfect school or perfect person. But you should choose a school most suited to you and your goals. (Remember, no one has a destiny, Hashem is in charge!)

Do your best, apply to where you see yourself going and Hashem will help you get accepted where you need to go and ultimately, help you decide where you are going.
