Longarekel, i don’t think you should so easily bash so much of k’lal yisroel and lemaiseh it is a kiddush Hashem when so much of klal yisroel gets together to make a siyum.
if there wasn’t such a thing as daf yomi which sets a goal, i’m sorry to say this, but i think a lot less people would have keviyus itim latorah. look how many people are learning because of this! Also, why would you just bash all the se people? do you have a specific reason?February 6, 2012 11:34 pm at 11:34 pm in reply to: TAKE TEHILLIM HERE – Rav Elyashiv In need of Rachamei Shamayim! #850829

May the posek hador have a refuah sheleima b’karov b’soch sh’ar cholei yiroel.
I’m a former camper of camp emes. Camp Emes is the most awesome camp I’ve been to, and i’ve been to plenty. Eli merenstein is one of the best guys on the face of this earth and i have a relationship with him since i was in the camp a year and a half ago. he puts tons of effort, time, and money into making sure every camper has the best summer of his life. If you tell me what kind of a boy your son is and what tyoe of a camp he’s looking for, i can give you more info about whether it will cater to him and if it will, in what ways it will. I have so much to say about the camp so please feel free to ask me anything.
o wow thanx

There was something done wrong there, but you must ask a rav this she’ila not the CR
how do i start a thread?
are we really clerring in a tv show? this sounds like a mitzva haba’ah ba’aveira
that is a very nice thought. When iread the question i thought of the same answeer tht u gave tht the yevanim specifically tried to take away these mitzvos.
i’m new to the coffee room… i’d probably come on about three times a weekDecember 25, 2011 4:07 am at 4:07 am in reply to: If somebody wants to work on their middos, where would you tell them to start? #838274
the ramban in igeres haramban gives a bunch of eitzos, but one of them is talk calmly to every person and not raise your voice to anybody…that’s with regard to being pleasant, but honestly if u wanna no wat to work on then you should speak to your rebbe who prob knows best
I don’t think any of us here should be making halachic p’sakim although it seems like the p’sakim that were given were right. I know a little halacha, but i also know that a person is supposed to ask his rav a she’ila – not the CR
