Just throwing out this piece of info: congresswoman Ilan Omar spent 2.8 millions dollars at a political consulting firm based in D.C former reelection.
That firm is owned by Ilan Omar’s husband. So in essence she paid herself with political donations for her reelection .
FYI this is all legal to do (law doesn’t bar family members from participating in political events) but it’s just astonishing to hear.Watch don lemon from CNN: “you know what the problem with America today is? White men.”

I just want to say that Im insulted for someone mentioning in the other 5t tznius thread that 5t is trying to be the “new lakewood”. ABSOLUTELY NOT. if that is the trend happening now Im moving right out! first of all thats classic “in-town” talk. who came first: 5 towns or lakewood (as it is now)? the answer is 5 towns my friends. there is NOTHING that 5 towns is trying to copy from lakewood-just look at 5 towns prices!! first of all I find it hilarious people talking about the bamboo cradle woman,upthread- I’m friends with (one of) her son and he’s a regular guy(not that anyone thought otherwise, just I know him personally everyone else knows them as a ‘celebrity’ somewhat) its just funny.

I remember seeing Rav Aryeh in the mercazi before selichos(3 yrs ago) and I told my friend we should go over to him and get a Bracha. He gave us the biggest warmest smile I ever received and wished us Hatzlacha for the year I was so shocked. From then on I would say he’s my good friend although thats prob an inappropriate title but he really acted that way to everyone who was in contact with him.What an amazing Tzadik. i scrolled though most of the donors names and saw donald trump supposedly gave 144$.
then if youll look a few names up it seems Hillary clinton gave as well(20$) and wrote its in honor of donald trump so im a little skeptical about this..
