    Maybe he is a cat. Take him to the pound and let them deal with him.

    Abba and Imma is not a question you don’t give a kesuba to your parents.
    The question is how can society pressure/expect/cajole young women to waive their rights in the kesuba and instead support their husbands.

    The key is consistency- daily learning programs are good to keep you on track and accountable for falling behind. All depends on your own level, work/family commitments, etc.

    E.g.:
    1. Daf Yomi – for a yeshiva-trained person, should include all Rashi’s and review on the weekends (I like to go thru the RIF for review an)
    2. ShMOT with Rashi;
    3. Some Halacha
    4. Some mussar/hashkafa/etc.

    >Since the RMA says to wear weekday cloth on this shabbos even though we don’t do it, is our optuon, therefore I think it is not a hachana.

    I believe that is only for Shabbos Chazon, which this is not.

    As noted by others – publishers need buyers to make money. So, by definition there will be more buyers for more accessible works.
    Also: Buyers of serious reform typically buy them in Hebrew.
    Last note recent Artscroll translations of serious works like the new Artscroll tosfos, Sefer haChinuch, Drashos haRan, Ramban on Torah, etc.

    The sources and discussions on this issue are there for those that want to find them. I vaguely remembered the Gemara and found the following just by googling:
    Start with the Gemara in Sanhedrin 21b – 22a – a three way machloket about which was the original script and how/why it was changed.
    The Rishonim also discuss it on the spot. There is discussion of the issue in Sefer Ikarim (maamar 3), Meshech Chochma (in devarim 31:9), Maharal (tifferet yisrael), Torah Temima (devarim 17, nt 92) as well.
