Hire a doula!
Interview a few to find someone who you are comfortable with and who shares your goals for the birth. Worth every penny! Statistics show births with doulas have fewer complications, fewer c-sections, and more positive memories.

There are a lot of intelligent, educated, worldly people in the CR. It surprises me that after a week, no one has commented on this statement.

Moose Knuckles or Canada Goose. Hands down. Natural fibers are superior to synthetic.
I have a Moose Knuckles coat and it kept me warm at -40 in the wind when I lived in Canada.
My husband’s car is from 1984! Not going to do the age calculation for you (lol). Drive always works, but we never know if we’ll have reverse or park.
I once had a van that was held together with duct tape. I kept a roll in the glove compartment so that when a piece of the vehicle fell off, I could get out and tape it back on. Then one day while I was driving, the glove compartment fell out, too!

Fragrance in anything like air freshener, fabric softener, etc, is usually a toxic chemical. Look for natural products that list the ingredients, such as essential oils.
