Lawyer, that is very impressive. I’d love to see the part of the film that shows the house.

CTLawyer, I love architecture, it’s wonderful that your wife was able to build her original design for you to live in. Sounds like a dream I would put on my ‘wishlist’.

BTW, Evergreen had Haman hanging near the vegetables, I saw him on Monday. So just confirming, the hat, shoes and trimmed beard. His pants for those interested are green velvet.

I heard this Purim that he had 300 children!

“I know actuaries who did not go to college. The self studied and passed the exams.”

Is there any way to learn Architecture and pass an exam with just a BA, and no further college?

If you have a plan to be lets say a dentist, and you need a BA to get into dental school, then OK get your BA. Going to school just for a BA so you can feel that you got a better education? Stupid waste of time.

As someone with one BA, I repeat, most of the curriculum was garbage. Sorry it is the simple truth.

The curriculum for a BA is pure shtisim. Saying this from personal experience.

Shopping, maybe the best way to find out what people are doing for 4 (or 6) weeks preparing for Pesach, is to move in with a family that does so for the duration. I’m sure you will learn a lot.

Mazel Tov Syag for the bar mitzvah.

If you don’t believe in spring cleaning then don’t. And don’t let other people’s comments rattle you. I love doing spring cleaning before Pesach, otherwise it doesn’t get done. After pesach, I rather spend the afternoon at the park with the kids. And trust me my house needs it…

That doesn’t mean Chametz free. A couple days before pesach I go over every corner with a vacuum cleaner, but because everything was already ‘spring cleaned’ and organized it only takes several hours and then the house is chametz free.

As for your ‘wish list’ I can guarantee that if you had everything on it, you would create a new one, and still have a ‘wish list’ that is life.

Syag, please don’t take it personally. Of course not everyone is lazy. I wasn’t talking about yiddishe boys. I meant American VS Mexican goyim. And as I said that is my experience. I’m sure your boys are wonderful. And I think that working to support yourself instead of taking handouts is nothing to be ashamed of.

Sorry Syag. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I don’t either have goyim, my husband picked them up specifically for the garage, because the stuff in there is too heavy for me, and he isn’t available to help.

The shalach manos junk go straight to the garbage on motzei purim in my house, the regular snacks go into the snack basket under the breakfast table and the real food goes into the Fridge and we eat it for the next few days, and whatever stays over is dumped. I don’t make myself a headache from it.

Why does everyone drop off their food at your house?? If you find it this stressful, maybe you shouldn’t do it.

Coffee Addict, Americans aren’t interested in the jobs the Mexicans are doing. They don’t want to work hard physically. They much rather get a monthly check from Uncle Sam. (No research here, just first hand experience.)

Ok, maybe I am naive, but the Mexicans I know are hard working family people, who simply want to have an opportunity for a better life.

I don’t at all condone coming here illegally, but to say they are criminals, is like saying that when the yidden crossed borders illegally to save themselves they were being criminals. I don’t think so.

and PS Lawyer, I consider myself conservative, not liberal.

Personally I don’t understand why Trump is so angry at the Mexicans. They come here and do what? Mow your lawn? wash your floors? Do your manicures? They aren’t shooting anyone or blowing themselves up in airports.

Of course they should come here legally, but they aren’t criminals by and large. They are people who want a chance for a better life.

If you are going to be careful about whom to let into the country, then stop being so politically correct and stop letting in ARABS and MUSLIMS who have a culture of KILLING people randomly. So what if it isn’t everybody. Tough. Let them stop teaching hate and change their culture if they want to be welcome.

And don’t tell me that that is what they did to the yidden! Yidden don’t teach hate. Never in history did they go around killing randomly.
