I don’t see any sense in giving girls off Sunday but keeping them in school on Erev Shabbos Kodesh when their presence at home would be so enormously appreciated. If anything it should be the opposite.
He may involuntarily cringe but not run and hide for enough time for us to get our tefilos in. Also, since he is a malach, a semi-divine being, he is completely controlled by his own intellect and not bound to the natural emotions and instinctive reactions that humans are. Therefore he probably wouldn’t even cringe/shudder.
(I hope nobody minds a bit of “out of the box” thinking)

It could just be that boys like marrying girls younger then themselves and girls feel more attracted to an older more mature husband. Dating at 19 doesn’t prove a higher maturity level in females. Even in marriages where both spouses are already half-way through their life, the man is usually older. Also, it could just be that parents feel more urged to marry off a daughter as fast as possible due to the unfortunate outcome if they are unsuccessful.
Oh please, the soton is a bit smarter than that. Also, why doesn’t blowing during the year make the soton hide?
