Vayikrah is about the avodas hacohanim (toras kohanim) so it is called LEVIticus. Deuteronomy means some thing to do with a summary and regarding Eccle…. I agree with Baal Habooze.

While you are at it you might as well ask on the other pshatim in that midrash that 49/50ths or 499/500ths died. But it could be that they were at the 50th level of tumah which is the level which is considerd to have absolutely no chance of doing tshuvah. Otherwise it is very hard to understand how they did not want to leave mitzrayim. They must have been so entrenched in Egyptian culture that they preffered to remain as slaves than to leave. This is a much lower level than non-frum people nowadays. This may have give them the status of not being part of klal yisroel in which case their death is not a reason for mourn, similar to the halachah that there is no aveilus on an apikorus.

I finished the seder at 12:30 and then read through midrashim about yetzias mitzrayim until chatzos (1:30) to fulfill “kol hamarbeh lisaper”. I think that according to the shitah that the korbon pesach/afikoman can only be eaten until chatzos so too the mitzvah of sippur only goes until then (???? ??? ???…..) I was somech on this shitah and went to sleep afterwards in order to have energy to spend the next day learning.

Maybe the reason it says “??? ??? ???? ??? …” is to tell you that even if you have all these different types of children you should look at each one as an “???”. Each one of the 4 sons requires his own method of chinuch and special attention as if he is an only child.

    PBA-

Shear the sheep and spin the wool into string.

    Tie up the wolf.

Burn the leaves (you can get more leaves at the other side)

Use the cotton to make a sail for the boat

Tie the giraffe to the boat

Throw the apples across the river

Place the sheep and the wolf on the boat

Sit on the giraffe and send it and the boat across (it wont drown because it is very tall)

    Lol.

First question – Who started the “Chill Room”

It seems that the game is taking forever to start so I will make the rules clear and ask the first question.

Rule 1) There is no judge

    2) Each team in turn asks the other two teams a question

    3) First team to answer gets a point

    4) The topic for all qs is CR trivia (this seems the most reasonable, since any other topic would be unfair to some players)(I’m considering limiting it down to this forum since some of us don’t post on the “Recipes” or “Bais Medrash” etc. forums)

    5) Order of asking is Blue, Red, Green.

    6) All q’s must be asked between 6-7 o’clock so that everyone will know when to expect a Q and have an opportunity to answer first

    7) New players are always welcome but they must first declare themseves and the team they wish to join.

    8) A new player should join the team with the least players.

    9) Blue- Wisey, Aurora

    Red- Blueprints, Crdle

    Green- Heilige, Frummy

The nes is that this jug keeps the menorah burning with the ?? ????? forever. So in a time of the year when the night is long and it seems that the golus isn’t going to end we thank Hashem that ?? ?? ???? ????? ????

What about Tefillin? I recently put on tefillin on an Air Canada flight under my coat. I probably looked strange wearing a coat with a hood, like an eskimo, on a plane but it would have been worse if I had put black boxes on my head and arm. Maybe I’m a terrorist.

Buttercrown: The question of bechirah is actually one that the Rambam and other Gedolim deal with. Let’s say that Hashem already knows today that I will eat a cheeseburger tomorrow, then when I wake up the next day i don’t have bechirah. I think this might be one of the matters which are not understandable by the human mind because it’s like Hashem knows tomorrow and then goes back in time and knows today. I think this discussion should be posted on the ‘Philosophical Qs’ thread.
