    “YitB –

do have an answer for us or are we gonna be thinking about this problem for the rest of our live wondering what the answer is?”

The answer is 14 using PEMDAS. There is no other correct answer.

We live off $1500 a month (sometimes even less), although most of our weekday meals are supplied by the Yeshiva.

No one ever said they were. That’s his business email address, doesn’t mean he only deals in amex points.

“Unfortunately hardly anyone is buying miles because the airlines keep placing restrictions on what the miles can be redeemed for.”

Sorry this is really not true, there are many brokers out there and it’s still a huge business. I speak from personal experience.

I don’t know if this is against the forum rules, if it is my apologies, here is an email address of a guy in lakewood: “amex mile [email protected]” without the spaces.

It’s not a recent problem here. Read this article from about a year ago,

You are not really beating the boycott, they tell you exactly how to get around it if you want.

If you do have to pay use an Amex card, then dispute the charge after you get your stroller back by sending Amex the link that states you don’t have to pay. I say Amex because they are the easiest to deal with when it comes to disputes.

    @ Macherish

If you still haven’t received your credit send a secure message through your amex account or call them and they will manually credit you. This problem was widely reported and unless you had a store branded or citi amex card, it was easily resolved.

Do NOT EVER pass on chain emails! All they do is clutter up everyone’s inbox, nobody wants them.

    “Pass this to 12 people

A blessing is coming to you of a new job, a house, marriage, good

    health, or financial comfort

Do not break or ask questions.”

It’s missing the part where if you don’t pass it on you will get eaten by a dog while being run over by a truck and struck by lightning at the same time. 🙁

    @BB152

Prices are much more expensive at the airport. All places i’ve rented from in Yerushalayim, including sixt, hertz and avis all gave shabbos off (excluding insurance).

The best (and cheapest) way i found to rent a car in E”Y was through an American travel agency. The guy i use has gotten me cars for considerably less than others including free or cheap upgrades. His name is Yigal (I don’t even know the name of the travel agency) and his number is (718)338-0417. They will give you the exact amount it will cost and you won’t find any more fees when returning your car.

What constitutes a Chillul Hashem? If it’s not viewed upon as wrong by the general populace, is it still considered a Chillul Hashem?
