HaGaon HaRav Yehuda Fischer Shlita has been appointed as a dayan for the Eida Chareidis. The appointment fills the void created in Shevat when HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Blau ZT”L was niftar. Dayan Fischer is among the rabbonim of the Perushim kehilla in Yerushalayim.

The Yehuda Fischer is the second son of Jerusalem Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Yisroel Yaakov Fischer ZT”L, who served as rov of the Zichron Moshe area of the capital. He is a son-in-law of HaGaon HaRav Yisroel Aaron Kupshitz Shlita, one of the prominent rabbonim of the Sanhedria neighborhood.
