Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Falk zt�l, 85, was niftar in Bnei Brak�s Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital on Shabbos after an extended illness.

The niftar was born in Germany to Rav Meir z�l and Moras Frieda ob�m. The niftar�s father was a decedent of the P�nei Yehoshua. He moved to Eretz Yisrael in 1939 and learned in the Ponevezh Yeshiva, becoming one of the most prominent talmidim. As a young man he became a prominent talmid of the Chazon Ish zt�l.

His is survived by Rebitzen Chaya as well as children, grandchildren and their offspring. The levaya took place on motzei Shabbos at 9pm in Bnei Brak and kvura was in the Segula Cemetery in Petach Tikvah.
