YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of�Rebbitzen Amelie Jakobowitz A”H (83), the Rebbitzen of the former Chief Rabbi of England, Rabbi Emmanuel Jacobowitz.� She had been listed in�critical condition, suffering from pneumonia which lead to kidney issues and other complications.
She was the eldest child of Rav Eliyahu Munk, author of �The Call of the Torah� and �The World of Prayer.�� She had been active in numerous chessed organizations, Torah education, Shalom Bayis issues, until very recently. She comes from a remarkable generation of women who never let the vicissitudes of life stop her ability to pursue her Avodas Hashem.
Just yesterday, YWN had posted a Tehillim request to serve as a Zechus for her.

I believe the levaya is 5:30pm from her home going on to E”Y. we are bereft of an amazing lady, may we all strive to live up to her example of a Eishes Chayil.
the Levaya will be leaving SHAMGAR at 9.30 AM (israeli time) and going HAR HAZEISIM.
