Two Killed, Two Seriously Injured After Car Overturns Down Embankment in Negev


United Hatzalah volunteers and Magen David Adom Ambulance teams responded to a medical emergency that involved a car accident that took place on Highway 25 near the Abu Talul interchange in the Negev.

As a result of the accident, two men in their 20s were killed and another two, also in their 20s were seriously injured after their car drove off the road and landed in a ditch upside down.

The injured were taken to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT  Adam Abu Ferach who was one of the first responders at the scene relayed: “I together with other EMS volunteers who arrived performed CPR on two of the young men in traumatic arrest. Unfortunately, they were both pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the injuries that they suffered. We also treated two other young men who were seriously injured. After receiving initial treatment at the scene the two victims were transported to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva for further treatment. Firefighters were working at the scene due to the severity of the accident.”

MDA EMT Yassir Abu Regilah relayed: “This is a very serious accident. When we arrived the car was in a ditch on the side of the road flipped over. Two men were outside of the vehicle unconscious. A third was inside the vehicle and a fourth was lying on the street some distance away from the vehicle. We were forced to pronounce two of the men dead at the scene. The other two were in bad shape and we transported them to the hospital.”
