Terrorist’s Relatives Confirm That Murderous Attack Targeted Ben-Gvir

The relatives of Muhammad al-Jabari, who killed an Israeli in a terror attack in October, told the Tazpit Press Service (TPS) that the likely target was Itamar Ben-Gvir, who now serves as National Security Minister.

Jabari carried out a shooting attack near Ben-Gvir’s home in October 2022, murdering Ronen Hanania, h’yd, in front of his son and wounding four others.

Relatives told TPS that Jabari, an Islamic education teacher in Chevron, was sick with cancer and wanted to die assassinating Ben-Gvir. They believe that Jabari thought Ben-Gvir was at home after seeing a vehicle that he mistakenly believed was his.

Ben-Gvir was not home at the time of the incident but his wife and children were. Fortunately, none of them were harmed.
