Police have reportedly arrested a suspect wanted in connection to the October burglaries at Camp Morris in Woodridge, NY. According to the Times Herald Record, Jeffrey Chack, 39, of Woodridge was tracked down by Fallsburg police, and arrested.
Police said he cut out copper piping at the Camp Morris summer homes, and caused more than $5,000 in damage.
Chack was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree attempted grand larceny, felonies; and misdemeanor drug possession. He was arraigned and sent to Sullivan County Jail without bail.

it seems as commodity prices rise , and without good shmira , many of our jewish camps and homes will become subject to this problem in the catskills during the winter months . i dont offer any solutions , hoever, a better system of shmira is definitely necessary.
THey should throw the book at these parasites and especially those who are purchasing this material. It is a very very big problem with vacant houses in Trenton and Camden and other inner cities. Not enough is being done to fight this disease. What is the world coming to and we all just move along and accept this type of action. Think about it people are stealing pipes and copper wiring of houses!!!
