(Click HERE for photos) We regret to inform you of the Petira of Rav Chanina Schiff ZATZAL in Yerushalayim. Rav Schiff was Zoche to have been the Meshames of 5 Gerrer Rebbes. As a young Bochur (after WWII) he was Meshames the Imrei Emmes. He was then Meshames the Bais Yisroel, the Lev Simcha, and the Pnei Menachem. In recent years he was also Meshames YBLT the current Gerrer Rebbe Shlita.
The Levaya is scheduled to take place in Ger Bais Medrash in Yerushalayim on Wednesday morning at 10:15AM.

Reb Chanina used to be the most powerful man in Ger His schver is still alive! Reb Velvel Eisenbach.Funny Moshe Ber Beck is also a SIL! Chanuka mesibas must of been fun
It was either the Imrei Emmes or the Bais Yisroel who said that Reb Chanina could have been a Rebbe in his own right, but he should better stay and be meshamesh in Ger.
