  1. Lt. Martinson is a hero, please remember all the firefighter heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Firemen never ask, religion or race etc when coming to help, they are there 24/7 365 days a year when we G-d forbid need them. Firemen will go the extra mile to save religious articles when a shul or any house of worship is burning. Pray for his family to have the strength to go on after this tragedy of his loss.
Please also include in your prayers all of those 343 FDNY members and 1 NY Fire Patrol member who gave their lives at the World Trade Center disaster 9/11/2001. Remember Alan Feinberg, David Weiss, Steve Belson these three men are Jewish firemen that died that terrible day. Please also be aware and be respectful of any volunteer firemen and pray for their safety as well. Many of these volunteers are fellow Jews…although that is important it shouldn’t really matter they are all there to help!
