Flatbush: Man Strikes Elderly Woman, Walks Her Home, Gives Her Fake ID & Leaves

The NYPD is looking for an individual who struck an elderly woman in Flatbush, the helped her home, gave her a fake name and fake information, and vanished.

Police say that on Thursday, December 7 at 6:45PM, a 71-year-old female victim was walking in the crosswalk on the south east corner of Quentin Road and East 21 Street, when she was struck by a dark colored four sedan.

The operator of the vehicle escorted the victim to her residence and preceded to provide the victim with incorrect pedigree information before fleeing the location without notifying the police or EMS to care for the victim.

The victim sustained a fractured right leg. She later called 911, EMS responded to her residence, and transported her to NY Community Hospital were she was treated and released.

The unidentified individual is described as a male white, approximately 18-years-old, 5’11” tall, with black hair last seen wearing dark clothing and a winter jacket.

  1. I don’t think this legally qualifies as a hit and run if the victim have him her consent for him to leave after he helped her. It’s more of a false information issue.
