BEWARE: Telemarketers Fraudulently Identifying Themselves As Hatzolah Israel

hatzolah israel1.jpgh1.jpgHatzolah Israel, the original Emergency First Responders in Israel, wishes to thank Klal Yisrael for their continued support and response to our recent mail campaign.

It has come to our attention that people have been receiving telemarketing calls from an organization in Flatbush that fraudulently identifies themselves as Hatzolah Israel or Hatzolah of Israel. We wish to notify you that these people have no affiliation with our organization nor do they represent us in any way- nor can we verify where these funds are directed.

As of this week our Israel office will begin our own phone campaign from Israel. These calls can be distinguished from the fraudulent calls by the pleasant demeanor of our callers as well as by the fact that our calls are all being made from our central office in Israel and will identify themselves as such.  If you are in doubt, you may contact us at our US office 845-918-1520 ext. 101 or visit our website: www.HatzolahIsraelUSA.org and e-mail us.
We appreciate and respect your support and do not give out or sell our list to any other organization.

Our brothers in Eretz Yisrael urgently need our support and are the direct beneficiaries of all of our campaigns.

Best Wishes for Good Health, Nachas and Shalom in Eretz Yisrael,

Friends of Hatzolah Israel

  1. I get calls several times a month from an o20082008rganization calling themselves Hatzolah Israel. Most of the callers can’t talk English properly and I don’t know if they’re legit. or not. I would think a legitimate organization that solicits by phone would not be making duplicate calls, but the callers would each call from different lists. Since they are so annoying I just hang up on them as soon as I hear who is calling. Anyway if I would perhaps want to donate to any charity who solicits by phone I would ask them to send me the details in writing before I make any pledges.I don’t give my credit card info. over the phone unless I initiate the call.

  2. i know this tele marketer and people should ba aware. they sometime will hijack “spoof” your phone number and make it look that your are calling from the MOSAD when in fact you are not. It happened to me and i had over 300 calls to my cell phone asking why I called and hugn up on them when i did not.

Its called predictive calling and it will auto dial so the telmarketers constantly have someon on the phone. when a telmarketer cant grab th phone it auto hangs up.

i spoke to on of the gedolie hador ad h said such a person who uses such tactics is ” mazek es harabim” and shoudl sit in jail.

could not prove anything yet all fingers point to a telemarketing specializing in israeli mosad in flatbush
